Welcome to the new monthly round up!
This is where I’m sharing some of my favourite things at the moment. Things that make my life a little more rich and delicious and hey, maybe they will for you too!
I’m breaking it down into 3 areas; what I’m reading, what I’m eating (and/or cooking), and what I’m loving. And let’s get some shares going in the comments. If you have something you’re loving right now, I’d love to hear about it!
Enjoy!
What I’m reading:
Salt: A World History - If you’re like me and love to nerd out about the history of food, this is a fun one! Did you know salt used to be used as currency? Or that it inspired revolutions and proved war? It’s an interesting dive into one of our most commonly used ingredients.
Prism: The Meat Issue - Prism is a newsletter that explores the world of wellness is a totally fresh way. No one size fits all, no quick fixes and no judgment. This is my view on so many things these days, discern things for yourself and make choices that feel good to YOU! The current issue is exploring the world of meat which has included some interesting articles about sustainable meat, plant based eating and exploring why meat is known as ‘manly’.
Art in America: Pigeon Keepers of NYC - This is the newest newsletter I’ve come across here on Substack. It’s a beautiful mix of stories and photos from some of the most unassuming but interesting places. I had no idea about the world of Pigeon Keepers but man, is this special to read about.
Mi Cocina - My love affair with Mexico continues and I love Rick’s take on it. So much beautiful inspiration in this one!
