What we do:

In partnership with public safety, RapidSOS has created the world’s first emergency response data platform that securely links life-saving data from 450M+ connected devices directly to 911 and first responders in an emergency. Through the platform, we’re providing intelligent data that supports over 5,200 Emergency Communications Centers, protecting 95%+ of people in the US, across 150 million emergencies annually.

What this role is about:

The product team at RapidSOS is looking for an Associate Product Manager to help us build out and scale our lifesaving data solutions. In this role, you will be a part of a team in a hyper-growth phase, reinforcing the product development lifecycle and partnering with members of our Engineering, Design, and Product Marketing teams. You’ll thrive in this role if you are well adept in the challenges of public safety, and are a natural listener that continually seeks input but has an ownership mentality.

What you’ll do:

• Support our product strategy by working with cross-functional teammates to understand users’ needs and deliver on solutions that meet them
• Understand market dynamics within public safety, and identify customer challenges that represent significant market opportunities for RapidSOS
• Proactively communicate strategies to internal/external stakeholders
• Develop metrics and share outcomes through an analytical lens
• Make data-driven decisions with information that is available
  
  

What we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:

• Bachelor's degree
• Work experience within public safety or the emergency technology industry
• Willingness to learn and grow your skill sets within Product Management
• Mission-oriented and impact-driven mindset - we are building products that save lives
• Strong sense of empathy - you strive to understand what users need
• Strong analytical and prioritization skills
• Outstanding oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong sense of curiosity and interest in learning the ins-and-outs of the product in detail
• Self motivated and detail-oriented and highly organized within their current experiences

It's our top priority to offer all of our team members fair and equitable compensation that has been thoroughly researched and benchmarked against market data. The budgeted range starts at $75,000 - $100,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience. This does not include equity.
