Paying tribute to Josh Johnson #32

June 7, 2021 Started off like any other day on vacation at the beach for the Johnson family but unfortunately it did not end that way. Josh Johnson woke up to go on a fishing trip early that morning with his dad, and three others. Hours into the trip, Josh at just 16 years old collapsed and was unable to be brought back to life. This family is going through what no family should endure. Aaron and Sabrina are living every parent’s worst nightmare. This family has lost a son, a loving brother, and a grandson. The Greene County community is also mourning, as many students at WMHS have lost a classmate, the basketball and football team of WMHS have lost one of their teammates. Josh had a personality that was unmatched, he could make anyone smile. His passion and determination shined through with everything he did. His smile was huge, but his heart was even bigger.

With any life changing event, expenses arise, and as a community, we hope to help support Sabrina and Aaron so that this is the last thing they need worry about it. Any donation is appreciated, but most importantly, please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers.
